Poor Dozing Woman

 Poor Dozing Woman

The pain she has gone through

Is the same hope she had let brew

For the sun had shone through

Out

And the rain had fallen not

She lies on that dry spot

Dozing off the gravity of the day

Lest she not taken to pray?

Sleep the only thing she

Can afford to pay

Now bad omens may stay!

Dozing poor woman

Closing door for no man

She once had run that path

Leaving conscience for love

Planting thorns

Where she now has to pass

Wondering off like a dove

Lost up and away

Amongst clouds above

She is left with nothing

But life

Life alone with nothing attached
