Buried Dreams
Buried Dreams
It calls out every silent night
With a tearing shrill that some might
Slaughter a goat and sprinkle blood;
Do the dance upon the grave
Those tears are now a flood
For none is as that brave!
Buried Dreams are never buried!
The casket may be carried
Lowered,and hymns hurried
But thy shall remain stareth
And alive with a petition
Surpassing human illusion
When it's six feet deep;
They say rest in peace
But in vain for a broken piece
Of dream you couldn't keep
Cloaked in dark silence
Of unseen absence
Buried Dreams stay in presence!
